Not sure he can replace Marleau though.
As reported by the San Jose Sharks, the team inked a new player to replace Patrick Marleau.
Who is it? Brandon Bollig...
"Bollig is a competitive player who will add a tough edge to the Sharks," said Wilson. "He brings with him a lot of playoff experience and a Stanley Cup Championship. His grit and physicality will be a great addition to our team."
Bollig, 30, scored 11 goals and 11 assists in 60 games played with the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League (affiliate of the Calgary Flames).
He made his NHL debut in 2012 and was a member of Chicago's Stanley Cup championship team in 2013. The Calgary Flames acquired Bollig in a draft-day trade on June 28, 2014.
