Breaking: Shocking update on Pastrnak trade rumors from the NHL Network.

There have been rumblings surrounding National Hockey League forward David Pastrnak but now they have really ramped up. 

While it seemed far-fetched that the Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney would actually trade the 21-year-old forward who put up 70 points in 75 games for them last season, the NHL Network's Brian Lawton has just suggested that may very well be the case.

"With what I'm hearing I would not be surprised if David Pastrnak is traded," said the former NHL general manager on Monday.

We can't honestly tell you what the play is here from Boston as Lawton did not elaborate on what the Bruins may be looking for in exchange, or whom they may be currently discussing this potential trade with. 

If Pastrnak is in fact traded, this will be an incredibly difficult trade for Sweeney to sell to his fan base.
