As many fans will already know there was a scary incident during a Washington Capitals practice that led to an injury to goaltender Braden Holtby, and although it was eventually reported as a non-serious issue, it now sounds like it may cost him at least one game.

According to a report from Capitals insider Isabelle Khurshudyan of the Washington Post, back up goaltender Dan Ellis has been added to the Capitals official roster, although the team has stated it was merely for precautionary reasons it does seem like an odd decision to make before a playoff game.

Further more Isabelle has reported that Holtby was very limited in his activity in practice this morning, something that could further point to the fact that the injury is not fully healed. We will see come game time.
