The Winnipeg Jets have announced that they’ve recalled forward Brendan Lemieux from the AHLs Manitoba Moose. Additionally the team has announced that forward Adam Lowry has been placed on injured reserve.

Lemieux, the son of former NHLer Claude Lemieux, could make his NHL debut tonight as the Jets take on Columbus Blue Jackets from MTS Centre in Winnipeg. In four games with the Moose this season, the 21-year-old has put up three goals and five points, a marked improvement from his 12 goals and 19 point sin 61 games last season.

While it hasn’t been confirmed whether or not Lemieux will slot into the lineup for tonight, the speculation is that he’ll either play tonight or on Friday night against the Minnesota Wild.
