Breaking: Son of NHL legend arrested in connection with local crime spree.

A troubling story for one of the Montreal Canadiens most well-respected former players.

Montreal's largest English newspaper, the Montreal Gazette, is now reporting that the son of Habs legend Guy Lafleur has been arrested in connection to a crime spree in the Montreal area. 

From the Gazette:

Montreal police raided a residence in Blainville Wednesday night, arresting four persons in connection with a series of burglaries carried out in Pointe-Claire. One of the men arrested is Mark Lafleur, Guy Lafleur’s son.

The arrests of the four suspects, between the ages of 20 and 36, was carried out with the assistance of Blainville police.

The details regarding the arrests are still relatively unclear, and police are expectedt to provide more in an official statement later on Thursday, we will update this story when more information is made available.
