Breaking: Star forward has been injured, will miss time.
Keystone Press.

Oh boy this may be a case of a team doing a poor job of managing an injury to one of their top stars.

According to multiple reports Dallas Stars superstar forward, Tyler Seguin, has re-aggravated his injury after coming back for Game 2 of the playoffs against the Minnesota Wild. Despite only appearing for 15 minutes in the contest, Seguin was once again knocked out of the line up due to complications from his previous Achilles injury.

It was a report from Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News, that confirmed the current injury is related to the existing issue Seguin had with his Achilles, and with him knocked out of the line up after just one game, one has to raise the question of whether or not he was rushed backed too early. Furthermore Heika has revealed that Seguin has been listed as day to day, will not be travelling with the Stars on the road, and will instead be staying in Dallas for additional rehab.

It's unclear what happened to Seguin, or how long he will be out for that matter, but with the team making the decision for him not to travel it's a real cause for concern. If it's for any extended period of time there will be many who question the decision to bring him back for Game 2.
