Breaking: Star goalie out for up to four months with major injury!

If you're a National Hockey League team this is your nightmare scenario.

According to a report from Sportsnet radio host Darren Millard, the Los Angeles Kings have lost their starting goaltender for what sounds like it will be the majority of the season, three to four months to be exact due to a major groin injury.

Quick went down after what looked like a relatively harmless slip during his first goal in game for Los Angeles, but obviously that slip was the farthest thing from being harmless.

Of course with a major groin injury like this to a veteran goalie, long-term health is also a concern.
