Breaking: Star goaltender has suffered a concussion.

The Boston Bruins just can't catch a break this season. 

With players like David Backes, Patrice Bergeron and Ryan Spooner all missing significant time due to injuries already this season, the last thing the Bruins needed was an injury to another star player, unfortunately that is exactly what they've gotten.

According to a breaking news report from the Bruins official website, Bruins general manager Don Sweeney has confirmed that veteran goaltender Tuukka Rask has suffered a concussion following an incident at practice on Wednesday. 

Bruins insider Joe Haggerty described he situation as Rask getting "smoked" in practice, and he was relatively unsurprised by the news as he claims Rask was "spaghetti-legged" as he left the ice on Wednesday. 

Rask is obviously a core member of the Bruins roster, and pivotal to their success on the ice. This is devastating news for the team, and there is no word on how long he may be out with this injury.
