Breaking: Star goaltender injured by stick to the head after his helmet gets knocked off!

This was a really ugly incident.

Pittsburgh Penguins star Matt Murray has been injured, and we don't know how badly, after his own teammate Evgeni Malkin dropped him with a swinging hockey stick to the head.

To make matters worse Murray had already lost his helmet on the play, so the stick of Malkin struck his exposed head, causing him to immediately collapse to the ice. 

Clearly this wasn't intentional, but nonetheless the result is a devastating one for Murray and the Penguins, let's hope he's going to be ok.
