Breaking: Star goaltender injured on Thursday night.

This is a nightmare scenario for the Boston Bruins.

The team's star goaltender Tuukka Rask was injured on Thursday night when the Bruins faced off against the Nashville Predators and it looked initially like he was badly shaken up on the play.

Rask went down after a rocket of a shot from Predators defenseman Roman Josi struck him right in the mask, and he remained down on the ice for a considerable length of time. Even when skating back to the locker room it was clear that Rask was not all there. 

The Bruins confirmed just moments ago that he will not be returning to the game this evening.
