Breaking: Surprising line up decision from Babcock tonight.

Toronto Maple Leafs Mike Babcock has surprised many, perhaps including his players, with a line up decision this evening. 

Earlier in the week Babcock made headlines when he dropped former first round draft pick Mitch Marner down to a line with Eric Fehr and Matt Martin, and many viewed that as a subtle message to Marner as well as his former line mates Tyler Bozak and James van Riemsdyk.

However either Babcock liked the change or he really wants to drive the message home because once again on Wednesday night Bozak and van Riemsdyk were without their usual partner.

It will be very interesting to see how long Babcock keeps this combination together, and if there may be more than just a message to his players behind his actions.
