Breaking: Team in hot water after new logo design deemed to be racist.

People all over the sports world are up in arms over this one, it's not just hockey reacting to this.

A junior hockey team is being widely criticized, if you can call it that, over their new choice of logo, one that many have labeled incredibly racist and offensive. It's very reminiscent of the scandal surrounding the National Football League's Washington Redskins.

The logo belongs to the Lake Erie Warriors, and it pictures a red man, presumably representing a native american, with a mohawk, a tomahawk, a hockey stick and a feather in his hair for good measure, just in case you weren't already sure.

It's caused so much of an uproar that we can't imagine the team will stay with this design, here's a look at what's causing all the hurt feelings.
