BREAKING : Team USA wins the World Championship.

Tonight, the finals for the World Championship of Hockey opposed Team USA to Team Canada in Michigan. It was the obvious finale to the tournament, as everyone knew it would come down to those two teams. It was a hard fought battle that went into overtime, but then this beautiful piece of play happened. 

Who else than Hilary Knight could deliver the clutch finish to this very intense and exciting game? 

Of course, the girl were ecstatic. This gold medal was the fourth in a row for the American powerhouse! 

Well done! It was a long and arduous road for the Women Team USA but they got it done. They asked for a living wage and fought hard with Hockey USA for it, even threatening to boycott the tournament altogether. In an interesting twist of fate that will surely heal a few wounds that were still fresh.
