Breaking: Terrifying accident as player takes a skate across the face on Tuesday night.

Oh boy the little footage we have of this incident certainly makes it seem terrible.

A truly scary moment took place during Tuesday night's match up between the Vancouver Canucks and the Columbus Blue Jackets, when Derek Dorsett appeared to be struck in the face by a skate from a falling player.

What makes this incident particular ugly is the fact that the skate appears to slash across Dorsett's face before he immediately reacts by putting both his hands up to his face and turnign to the bench.
