A huge shocker from the Blue Jackets!

The Columbus Blue Jackets have surprised just about everyone.

There had long been rumors that the Finnish general manager of the Blue Jackets, Jarmo Kekäläinen, was not a fan of the Finnish prospect that most predicted would be drafted at the number three spot, Jesse Puljujärvi.

It appears those rumors were true and the Blue Jackets instead opted for converted center Pierre-Luc Dubois who has started to rocket his way up the draft board in recent weeks, but not many predicted he had climbed this high.

It's a gamble for Columbus, but one that could pay off huge.
