Breaking: The first steal of the summer just happened!

TSN's journalists Bob McKenzie, Darren Dreger and Craig Button will be part of the cast hosting the very first American broadcast in the history of the NHL. After TSN's lost the broadcasting rights of the NHL to Sportsnet, several of the network's finest were left without an opportunity to cover live NHL events. That is the case of this year's draft. But for the first time in history, an American network will broadcast the draft and they brought Canada's broadcasting all-star team to lead the charge.

Prior to that, hockey fans in the U.S.A had to watch the Canadian broadcast. This year, with the very best analysts of TSN working for NBC's team, it might be Canadian fans watching the american broadcast according what some of them had to say on Twitter.

A lot of fans were not happy when Sportsnet bought the broadcasting rights for the NHL, believing TSN's product was far superior.
