The Montreal Canadiens have officially recalled Daniel Carr from its AHL affiliate, the Laval Rocket. The organization has confirmed the news on its official Twitter account just minutes after the end of the game against the Ottawa Senators.
He is going to join the team in Detroit:
We do not have more details about why Carr was recalled. We know that Charles Hudon was hurt after he blocked a shot against the Sens, but after leaving for the locker room for a few minutes, he came back and finished the game.
We should have more details over the next few hours.
Carr is currentely Laval's best scorer. In 20 games this season, he amassed 12 goals and 7 assists for 19 points.
