Nashville Predators forward Scott Hartnell will be sidelined for at least three to five weeks with a lower-body injury, the team confirmed on Tuesday. He suffered this injury in a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on November 11.
Hartnell, 35, has registered seven points in 16 games so far this season. He was drafted sixth overall by the Predators in 2000. He also played with the Philadelphia Flyers and the Columbus Blue Jackets. He rejoined the Predators as a free agent last summer. In 1203 games played in the NHL, Hartnell registered 690 points. He added 47 points in 95 playoff games.
The Predators are in Washington tonight to face the Capitals.
