WOW! More bad luck in Edmonton...
We sincerely don't know how much more the Edmonton Oilers can take this season. Or their fans, for that matter. After it was announced that starting goalie Cam Talbot was placed on injured reserve yesterday, another blow hit the Oilers on Friday.
Head coach Todd McLellan announced that top defenseman Adam Larsson was also placed on injury reserve with an upper-body injury.
The only good news is that Larsson is only expected to miss a week of action. The 25-year-old did not take part in last night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after partaking in the warmup skate.
We don't know how the injury occurred, but one thing is for sure: Oilers fans just want some good luck at last!
