Breaking: Third Flyers player suffers a concussion!
KeyStone Press

The Philadelphia Flyers received a piece of bad news Thursday afternoon.

Defenseman Radko Gudas took a hard elbow to the head fro Chicago Blackhawks forward Brandon Saad. He left the game and initial reports appeared to suggest that he would be okay, but evidently upon further inspection the fear of a concussion was confirmed.

Gudas joins Shayne Gostisbehere and Nolan Patrick with concussions. The Flyers are also dealing with injuries to Andrew MacDonald and Anthony Stolarz.

The 27-year-old is the third key defenseman to fall to injury in Philadelphia - creating a serious issue on the blue line. They have to hope these injuries don't keep these guys out too long.

The Flyers are 6-6-1 and have lost 4 out of their last 5. They need to right the ship and quickly.
