His NHL career only lasted three games!

Russian forward Vadim Shipachyov has finally decided to return to Russia, according to Sportsnet's Eric Engels.
This new development comes only one day after the Vegas Golden Knights decided to suspend him because he refused to report to the Chicago Wolves of the AHL. He was sent to the minors twice this year, even if he scored one goal in three games played in the NHL. General Manager George McPhee signed him to a two-year, $9 million contract last summer.
Shipachyov, 30, was a popular name entering the free agent frenzy last summer, after he had a strong season in the KHL in 2016-2017, registering 76 points in 50 games.
The termination of his contract will be official once he clears the unconditional waiver process.
