As Curtis Zupke, beat writer for the Los Angeles Kings reported on Twitter, top prospect Gabriel Vilardi has ben cleared to skate again. He was sidelined with back strain.

Vilardi, an 18-year-old forward, was drafted 11th overall by the Kings this last draft. In 111 games played with the Windsor Spitfires (OHL), he registered 99 points. He was expected to crack the lineup this year, but his back injury made him miss the entire training camp. The team didn't speculate on where he will play once he is 100% healthy.
