The trade rumors surrounding P.K. Subban just won't go away, and while Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin may not be planning on trading his star defenseman, he may get the kind of offer he simply can't refuse.

According to a report from ESPN's Pierre Lebrun teams have been calling more frequently over the last 48 hours inquiring about what it would cost to acquire Subban. It's clear at least that these teams believe that Subban is available for the right price.

Lebrun made it clear that he is not suggesting Subban will be traded, but was simply indicating that it's a rather interesting development when you consider that Subban's no-movement clause kicks in on July 1st.

If teams do want to acquire the talented young blue liner they will need to do it very soon.
