We have a trade in the National Hockey League although the details are still a little fuzzy.
Here's what we do know, the Philadelphia Flyers have traded arguably the biggest name on their blue line, Luke Schenn, as well as veteran forward Vincent Lecavalier in a deal with the Los Angeles Kings. Coming back to Philadelphia from Los Angeles are a third round draft choice as well as 23 year old center Jordan Weal.
This appears to be purely a money deal for the Flyers who have desperately been trying to get out from under Lecavalier's contract, although TSN hockey insider Darren Dreger is reporting the Flyers had to retain 50% of both Schenn and Lecavalier's contract in order to get the deal done.
We will update you as more information becomes available.
