BREAKING: Two key players are missing at Leafs practice!
"A team with very few injuries during the season potentially with a key one before the playoffs," tweeted the respected TSN insider Pierre LeBrun replying to a brief tweet mentioning that Nikita Zaitsev and Roman Polak are not on the ice at Leafs practice this morning.
Roman Polak played 75 games this season. The veteran defenseman scored 4 goals and registered 7 assists for a total of 11 points. Polak brings the physical presence to the defensive squad.
As for Zaitsev he played 82 games this season. He scored 4 goals and registered 32 assists for a total of 36 points.
