Defenseman Matt Bartkowski and forward Peter Mueller were released from their Player Try-Out and were officially signed by the Providence Bruins to a Standard Player Contract. What does that means? Bartkowski and Mueller are eligible to play for the providence Bruins and their East Coast affiliate team the Gwinneth Gladiators.
In order to play for the Boston Bruins, both will have to sign a brand new contract that ties 'em to the NHL team, most likely a 2-way contract.
Peter Mueller scored 7 goals and addes 7 assists in 20 games during his PTO while Bartkowski scored twice and added 5 assists in 19 games.
