Breaking: Two teams believed to be the favorites for Duchene.

The trade rumors surrounding Colorado Avalanche star forward Matt Duchene have been ongoing for months now, but they may be finally drawing to a close. 

On Wednesday TSN insider Darren Dreger was a guest on TSN 1050 radio in Toronto and he was asked about those very same rumors. This resulted in Dreger naming two teams that he believes are the favorites for Duchene.

“I still feel like Ottawa and the Columbus Blue Jackets are the front-runners,” said Dreger as per Fanrag's Chris Nichols.

As many of our readers will know, a rumor broke this week suggesting that the Ottawa Senators and their general manager Pierre Dorion were making an aggressive push for Duchene, and that may finally have been what was needed to get the deal done either for the Senators or a rival team like Columbus.
