Breaking: Veteran defenseman spotted in walking boot as he leaves the arena!

The Vancouver Canucks admitted that Chris Tanev was injured, but they didn't disclose the nature of his injury, and listed him as day to day, that now appears ot have been extremely optimistic. 

According to a breaking news report from Postmedia's Ben Kuzma, Tanev was spotted with a walking boot on his right foot today, indicating that the injury is to said foot, and furthermore indicating that the day to day timeline may be unrealistic.

The right shooting defenseman has been an important part of a Canucks line up that has had a stronger start to the regular season than many expected, and his absence was clearly felt on Tuesday night when the Canucks suffered a tough 3-0 loss to the Ottawa Senators.
