This will not help his already tarnished reputation.

The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety has just announced that they will be holding a hearing for Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson, and a hearing usually indicates that a suspension is coming.
According to NHL Player Safety the hearing will be in regards to Wilson's hit on 21-year-old St. Louis Blues' forward Samuel Blais, a hit that NHL Player Safety has described as "boarding."
Wilson has earned a reputation as a dirty player over the years, although fans in Washington have at times accused NHL Player Safety of unfairly targeting him for previous infractions.
Given his history however it seems highly likely that Wilson will be facing some form of significant suspension here.
