BREAKING: Veteran Forward to Miss 6 Weeks

His injury is worse than feared.

The Boston Bruins have announced moments ago that forward Matt Beleskey's injury was worse than initially expected, and he will miss the following six weeks of action after injuring his right knee against the Buffalo Sabres last Saturday night: 

No official announcements on the specific injury to his knee nor if it required surgery have been made, though we will be sure to update you as soon as we learn more. 

Through 24 regular season games played thus far, Beleskey posted two goals and five points while maintaining a plus/minus rating of -6.
