Breaking: Veteran player asked to submit his list of 8 teams for a trade!

We have a huge report from TSN 1040 radio host Matthew Sekeres.

According to Sekeres the Vancouver Canucks reached out to veteran forward Jannik Hansen last night and requested that he provide a list of eight trade-approved teams, presumably with the intent of trading him prior to the trade deadline.

This is huge news from the Canucks organization as it appears that they will look to sell prior to the deadline, something that fans who feel the team is in desperate need of a reset have been hoping happens for several seasons now. 

It's also an indication that the team has received significant interest for Hansen, and as a veteran NHLer who can still produce that should comes as little to no surprise.
