What would you prefer first? The good or the bad news? The good news, you might have heard about it, is that the Minnesota Wild is finally getting top forward Zach Parise back into the lineup, tonight agains the Florida Panthers.

The veteran has been cleared to make his season debut, after missing the first 39 games because of back trouble, and has been activated from the long-term injured reserve.

That's all well and exciting, but now, activating Parise from the LTIR is pushing the Wild right up against the cap ceiling.

That's the bad news...

Parise, who had surgery on Oct. 24 to address a disk problem in his lower back that caused leg pain and weakness, is back in the fold as right wing Zack Mitchell was waived on Monday to make room on the roster for the veteran forward.

The Wild might be forced to make several other moves, especially if the team is looking to add some depth before the trade deadline... Things will get more and more interesting in Minnesota, and not just before Parise is back!
