Boy oh boy, today has been an exciting day for the Edmonton Oilers and it's not over yet.
We may be reading too much into the comments made by now former Edmonton Oilers forward Nail Yakupov, but from our perspective it certainly looks like he may have taken a parting shot at his former team on his way out the door to St. Louis.
"This is first time I've played on really, really good team... I don't know what winning is," said Yakupov as per Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post Dispatch.
The Blues will certainly be hoping he can learn what winning is very soon, and while it's still certain how much of a role, or where that role will be in the line up, Yakupov will play on the team, the Blues have some talent up front that could allow him to be effective.
Whether or not he ever manages to live up to the expectations of his first overall status however is an entirely different matter.
