If you're Steve Yzerman right now you have got to be fuming.

According to a report from Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News, young Tampa Bay Lightning forward Jonathan Drouin has been hurt during the World Cup of Hockey preparations for Team North America, the under 23 team that will be featured in the tournament.

As of right now we don't know who delivered the hit to Drouin but we do know he was forced to leave the ice as a result of the hit, and was left clutching his wrist in pain, although how severe the injury may be is currently unclear.

To his credit Drouin did not head to the locker room and instead is attempting to gut it out on the bench, but in a case like this the choice may be taken out of his hands if the injury warrants concern from Tampa Bay.

Update: It sounds like Drouin is going to be alright, Harrington is reporting that he has returned to the ice.
