This just in, the WHL's Medicine Hat Tigers have drafted Duke Lesnar, son of WWE and UFC superstar Brock Lesnar, in the 5th round of the WHL Bantam Draft today.
Lesnar spent the 2024-25 season with the Notre Dame Hounds, where he tallied 13 goals and 15 assists for 28 points in 30 games while adding 43 penalty minutes. Lesnar added four points in four playoff games with the Hounds.
The Lesnar family is not new to hockey; both of Duke’s brothers play as well. The oldest, Alexander, currently plays for Saint John’s University in the ACHA II, while Turk played with Duke at Notre Dame this past season. Alexander did not play this past season, but during the 2023-24 campaign, he tallied 12 points in 19 games.
As for Brock... well... come on. He's a legend in the squared circle and in the octagon.
