Brock Nelson reportedly traded by the Islanders
After 15 years in the Islanders organization, the veteran forward is reportedly moving on.
According to a report from New York Islanders insider Arthur Staple, the team is trading veteran forward Brock Nelson.
The 33 year old forward is in the final year of a six year deal that pays him $6 million annually and is scheduled to hit the open market as an unrestricted free agent this upcoming offseason.
He has a stellar 20 goals and 43 points in 61 games this season and was a member of Team USA's 4 Nations Faceoff roster.
