There's no doubt that this current season has taken a big toll on Vancouver Canucks' head coach Bruce Boudreau. The poor man has been dragged through the ringer by the Canucks organization as his job hangs in the balance and no doubt Boudreau is already looking forward to when this entire ordeal will finally come to an end.

Although this will be a season that Boudreau will most likely want to forget, the love he has received from fans in recent days has also created some long-lasting and beautiful memories for the veteran National Hockey League head coach. On Friday night, as Boudreau's Canucks fell to the Colorado Avalanche, the fans in Vancouver serenaded Boudreau with chants of "Bruce there it is" showing that fans have not given up on him in spite of the team's struggles on the ice.

During one of those chants, Boudreau could even be spotted taping his heart as if to signal his appreciation to all of those cheering him on.

Things got even more emotional following the game itself however when Boudreau was asked to respond to the love he received from the Canucks' faithful. As you might have expected this proved to be a very touching moment for a man going through a really tough time in his career, and Boudreau vowed that he would never forget the fans that made it all happen.

“It’s unbelievable. I’ve only been a year it will go down in my memory book it will go down as one of my best memories… it’s very touching," admitted Boudreau following the game.

Boudreau also added that he will miss the kind of warm reception he received from fans in Vancouver despite being their head coach for such a short time, a reception that I suspect he will continue to receive even long after he has moved on as head coach.

Boudreau finished off his media availability in style.
