What a great story for Justin Brazeau.

After being overlooked in the National Hockey League Entry Draft on multiple occasions, Justin Brazeau can finally call himself a National Hockey League level hockey player. On Sunday, the Boston Bruins announced that they had signed the undrafted prospect to a two-way NHL contract after his strong performance with the American Hockey League's Providence Bruins earned him the contract.

Brazeu, a native of New Liskeard, Ontario, has been trying valiantly for many years to break into the NHL, spending a few seasons under the umbrella of the Toronto Maple Leafs before eventually finding his place within the Bruins organization.

This season, Brazeau has appeared in 49 games for the Providence Bruins and has recorded 18 goals and added 19 assists for a total of 37 points over that stretch. Not only does Brazeau have skill on the ice but he brings with him an imposing figure, standing at 6'5 and weighing in at 245lbs.

Brazeau's new deal will have a two year term with the 26 year old winger earning $775,000 at the NHL level in both years of that contract.

It's always great to see when hard work pays off, and that certainly is the case here for Brazeau who has grinded for years to finally achieve his dream.
