Bruins assign young prospect to the AHL

The Boston Bruins have assigned forward Austin Czarnik to the Providence Bruins (AHL), the team announced on Thursday. 

Czarnik, 24, played his first full season in the NHL last year, registering 13 points in 49 games played. He played six games with the Bruins this season, registering one assist. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Bruins in 2015, after he played four seasons at the Miami University (Ohio).

In five games played in the AHL this season, he registered 10 points.
