This just in, the Boston Bruins will dress goaltender Linus Ullmark as their starting netminder for Game 2 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Jeremy Swayman started Game 1 and earned the victory, but the Bruins have been using a rotation of Swayman and Ullmark for 28 straight games now.

The Boston Bruins were able to take a 1-0 series lead over their rival Toronto Maple Leafs, a 5-1 shellacking in Game 1 at TD Garden on Saturday night. Tonight, they'll be looking to take a 2-0 series stranglehold, and have released a handful of crucial health updates.
To start with, defenseman Derek Forbort was recalled from the American Hockey League affiliate Providence Bruins, though he won't be in the lineup tonight. However, he did skate earlier today and had a positive report regarding his status.
"It was fine," he said after the skate. “Just trying to get my legs back and timing, and see how I felt.”
Forbort, who was placed on Long Term Injured Reserve in March following a pair of surgeries,
“The timeline we got from the surgeons was a little longer than what we’ve got here,” Forbort said.
“We’re getting close,” he continued. “Just trying to do as much extra stuff out there, trying to get the conditioning back and trying to get the strength back.”
Forbort was limited to only 35 games this season, registering four assists. But the fact that he's back on the ice is certainly exciting for him.
“It’s exciting, just kind of fun being out there and feeling normal again,” Forbort said. “Just having fun, being out there with the guys and enjoying it.”
Meanwhile, the Bruins are without forward Justin Brazeau, who suffered an upper body injury earlier this month. According to head coach Jim Montgomery, the earliest that he can be expected back is if the team advances to the second round.
“I don’t know exactly, but I would say Round 2,” Montgomery responded about the status of Brazeau.
