The Boston Bruins will face the St. Louis Blues in the Stanley Cup final, which kicks off on Monday.

We cannot wait.

Ever since the Blues put an end to the San Jose Sharks’ run and since the Bruins have been waiting around for an opponent for the big dance, we are missing the game!

It feels like Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy is too since on Wednesday he decided to play mind games with the Blues starting goalie Jordan Binnington.

Last season, Binnington played for none other than the AHL’s Providence Bruins. And Cassidy believes the Bruins have an advantage against the Blues because o that.

However, when Binnington was made aware of Cassidy’s comments he had the most Binnington reaction of all:

“That’s good, I guess,” Binnington answered.

His teammate Patrick Maroon laughed out loud.

The Blues do not seem fazed by Cassidy’s comments. While the Bruins probably got some input from Providence about Binnington, we all know what can happen to Boston when they get over-confident.

Let’s see if they will use this “edge” to their advantage as the series kicks off on Monday night.
