Why fix something if it’s not broken?

The Boston Bruins held practice on Wednesday morning and the lines remained the same they ever were.

Boston, who finally found out they’ll be facing the St. Louis Blues in the Stanley Cup final, need to stay focused while waiting a total of 10 days between games.

While the lines have gone undisturbed for the past few days, head coach Bruce Cassidy will get a chance to see them in action tomorrow night as the Bruins will hold a public intrasquad scrimmage so that the players will get back in the routine before the opener of the championship series on Monday.

Here is a look at the projected lineup for that scrimmage and for the upcoming first championship game, taking place on Monday night, per team insider Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic

Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak
DeBrusk-Krejci-Backes
Johansson-Coyle-Heinen
Nordstrom-Kuraly-Acciari

Chara-McAvoy
Krug-Carlo
Grzelcyk-Clifton

Rask
Halak

The scrimmage is expected to be two, 25-minute periods, with two officials on the ice. But some rules will be ignored in the interest of situational drills and keeping everyone healthy.

Let’s hope everyone does stay healthy so the lines can look this good for Game 1 on Monday in Boston.
