Jonathan Toews has caught the attention of several suitors across the National Hockey League with his impressive rebound season with the Chicago Blackhawks.

When trade chatter emerged that both Toews and teammate Patrick Kane could be on the move at the trade deadline in the hopes of winning another Stanley Cup before retirement comes, more suitors were linked to Kane.

However in recent weeks, both the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche have been reportedly in the mix for Toews, and now the Boston Bruins are also said to be interested in landing the Hawks’ captain, per David Pagnotta of the Fourth Period.

While the Blackhawks want to make sure Toews wants to be traded and will have control of where seeing that, just like Kane, he holds a no-mouvement clause. But the Bruins surely have a huge advantage, seeing that they are currently the best team in the NHL’ rankings and are believed to hold the best odds at the moment to win the Stanley Cup this summer.

It was recently reported by Scott Powers and Mark Lazerus of The Athletic that the Blackhawks could seek a first-round pick given his bounce-back performance this season. However, Chicago might have to sweeten the deal if they agree to absorb part of Toews’ $10.5 million AAV .

The chatter will only get louder as the March 3rd deadline nears, and we will get a better idea of Boston’s chance to add Toews as a boost up front and in the face-off circle for long playoff run.
