Bruins F Brad Marchand launches his own breakfast cereal
Will you be munching down?
Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand is known for being many things. A wonderfully gifted hockey player, a world-class pest, and a Stanley Cup champion.
And now, he can officially include "cereal vendor" among his accolades.
Marchand has launched his own cereal line, a Cinnamon Crunch cereal called March Munch:
“Having my own cereal is a dream come true,” Marchand said in a statement. “Growing up as a kid, I would see different athletes with their own cereal. I just never thought it would be me one day. The fact that it is my favorite cereal makes this project even sweeter.”
“PLB Sports & Entertainment has worked with some of the world’s greatest athletes, entertainers, and brands to create a premier line of athlete-endorsed quality food products delivered right to our customers’ doorstep,” their website states.
And proceeds from the cereal will go to a great cause. Per WCVB.com:
"A portion of the proceeds from each box of March Munch sold will benefit Christopher's Haven, a Boston-based organization that operates a supportive, affordable living community consisting of apartments and a community recreation area for families of children who are undergoing cancer treatment in nearby hospitals."
