Boston Bruins head coach Marco Sturm met with the media today to discuss tonight's game against the St. Louis Blues and confirmed that backup Joonas Korpisalo will get the start in goal.

Sturm also provided an update on injured players Charlie McAvoy and David Pastrnak.

McAvoy will continue to skate this week on a day-by-day basis. The team will review his progress next week. McAvoy, of course, took a slap shot to the mouth ad required jaw surgery last month.

Sturm said that Pastrnak will start skating soon, but he’s not ready yet to return to action.

Incidentally, Blues head coach Jim Montgomery, formerly of the Bruins, confirmed that Jordan Binnington will start tonight against the Bruins.
