The Bruins GM has spoken!

The Boston Bruins have been embroiled in what is turning out to be a major controversy after multiple sources have claimed the team is attempting to trade star forward David Pastrnak.
The rumors picked up a great deal of intensity when the NHL Network's Brian Lawton revealed that he would not be surprised if the trade did come to fruition based on what he was hearing, and now Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney has responded.
“Not trading Pastrnak,” said Sweeney in an email as per the Boston Globe.
Now while you would think that would absolutely kill a trade rumor, it appears than fans in Boston will not be satisfied until Pastrnak has signed on the dotted line and it's hard to blame them.
An organization that has traded away names like Joe Thornton, Tyler Seguin, Dougie Hamilton and more has not earned faith from its fan base when it comes to big time trade deals.
