Bruins get some fantastic news on prospect Andre Gasseau

Earlier today the Boston College Eagles unveiled their captains for the upcoming season:

• Lukas Gustafsson
• Brady Berard
• Andre Gasseau

Gustafsson is an undrafted Senior who has spent the last three seasons with BC. The 22 year old defenseman put up two goals and 15 points in 35 games last season.

Berard is also an undrafted Senior who has split his college career between BC and Providence. The 21 year old center put up just four goals and five points in 35 games for BC last season.

Gasseau is also a Senior, but he was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 7th round (213th overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. He put up 15 goals and 30 points in 36 games for BC last season, playing alongside NHL top prospects Ryan Leonard and Bruins top prospect James Hagens (2025, 7th overall pick). Gasseau's stock has risen the past year thanks to his strong play last season. He certainly has established himself as a potential future NHLer for the Bruins and today's announcement is only further proof that this 7th rounder has legit NHL potential.
