Bruins 'goon' takes a costly penalty on 'illegal check to opponents head'.

Zac Rinaldo must be feeling salty after being placed on waivers, and decided to release his frustration in the form of an illegal check to his opponents head.

The Boston Bruins' forward, who was placed on waivers by the team on Sunday, managed to injure yet another player with his style of play.

During Sunday's game between the Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning, Rinaldo was penalized for a "vicious hit" to the head of Lightning forward Cedric Paquette.

Paquette goes down in a heap and is clearly dazed by the impact of Rinaldo's shoulder hitting him square on the jaw. He managed to make his way to the tunnel and left the game for the locker room.

Rinaldo was assessed a minor for an illegal check to the head on the play, although the argument can be made that Paquette embellished the severity of the hit.

Rinaldo not only injured Paquette, he wound up hurting his team, as the Lightning scored on the ensuing power-play.
