Bruins hint at 2 potential returns ahead of Game 7.

Two injured Bruins were back out on the ice for the morning skate ahead of Game 7.

After initially putting the Toronto Maple Leafs on the ropes by taking a commanding 3-1 lead in their opening round Stanley Cup playoff series, the Boston Bruins suddenly find themselves staring down at the possibility of an early first round playoff exit heading into Game 7 on Saturday night.

There will be a ton of pressure on both teams coming into this game and you can bet that both sides will be using absolutely everything at their disposal to try and guarantee a win in the all important and final game of this series.

That could very well include some lineup changes with the status of Maple Leafs star forward Auston Matthews still up in the air, and it looks like it could include some lineup changes for the Bruins as well. There will of course be questions asked about who should get the start in goal, both Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman have been solid for the Bruins all season long, but those questions very likely won't be answered until right before the puck drops.

There may be at least one another lineup change for the Bruins in Game 7 with a pair of injured Bruins spotted during the team's morning skate on Saturday. The big surprise was the return of Andrew Peeke who wasn't expected back for some time based on the latest update from Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery. Although Peeke's return to the ice is very promising, it doesn't sound like he will be ready to go for Game 7.

Another return that could play a factor in tonight's game is the return of Danton Heinen, with the Bruins even hinting at the possibility that he could be in the lineup tonight. Heinen was even given some time on the team's second power play unit, although the Bruins did also practice without him which may indicate that his status is still up in the air.

Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to puck drop.
