They just keep chugging along.
The Boston Bruins continue to push through the 2022-23 NHL regular season with near perfect ease, boasting by far the best record and in the conversation to challenge for (or even break) the modern record for most wins in an 82 game campaign.
And thanks to their win last night in Edmonton over the host Oilers at Rogers Place, they've officially set more hockey history. They became the 1st team ever to beat 31 other opponents during a season. The last time they beat every other opponent in the NHL happened to be the 1990-91 campaign, where they would bow out to the eventual Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins in the Eastern Conference Final.
And even better, they're undefeated against 20 out of the other 31 NHL teams.
Nearly everything is going Boston's way this year, and it will certainly be looked at as one of the biggest disappointments in recent memory if they're not the last team standing when it is all said and done this spring.
